The Town Council appoints officials, known as Commissioners, and delegates to them the responsibility to carry out the provisions of Town Ordinances. They must be registered voter residents of Dune Acres.

The Council is responsible for supervising these Commissioners and all related expenditures. Appointed Commissioners make regular reports to the Council at the monthly Town Council meetings. All Council and Commissioner positions serve without pay.
